The melting point of Molybdenum Sheet is 2623′ãC. It has good thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion rate. Molybdenum can withstand extreme temperatures and maintain its strength and stiffness at high temperatures. Molybdenum has excellent corrosion resistance similar to tungsten. Molybdenum Sheet are characterized by high melting point, good corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion rate. We can supply molybdenum flakes in various sizes up to 99.95% pure. Surfaces can be glossy, satin, matte, or rolled; depending on thickness and width parameters.
Molybdenum Sheet Application:
Molybdenum flakes are used in the manufacture of electric light source parts and power semiconductors. It can also be used in molybdenum boats, molybdenum crucibles, heat shields, high temperature furnace heating bodies, aviation, aerospace, nuclear high temperature furnaces, glass, ceramics, crystal production, medical treatment, lighting, vacuum sputtering and other fields.
Molybdenum sheet is made by a series of processes such as hot rolling, warm rolling and cold rolling. First, the molybdenum powder is pressed into a plate shape by isostatic pressing technology, sintered at high temperature to form a molybdenum billet, and then rolled. Due to the multiple deformation and high speed during the rolling process, repeated heating is not required. This is very beneficial for molybdenum, because molybdenum is severely oxidized at high temperatures and the oxides volatilize rapidly.
