Description:Molybdenum is a grey refractory metal similar in many respects to tungsten, with only slightly lower hardness, melting and boiling points than tungsten. Molybdenum is often present in minerals in various oxidation states and readily forms hard and stable carbides, but does not occur naturally as a free metal. Molybdenum machined parts are made by powder metallurgy technology. The basic steps are to first select high-quality molybdenum powder, make mold billets by hot rolling, then go through annealing, warm rolling, alkali washing, cold rolling and final rolling,finally check the finished product and put into storage.Molybdenum machined parts have the characteristics of good high temperature strength, low expansion coefficient, good electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance (a dense and firm protective film will be formed on its surface), high strength, high hardness, and low resistivity.

Application:Molybdenum machining parts are widely used in metallurgy (metal processing, high temperature furnace, tool manufacturing), electrical and electronic (electronic tube, electric light source), medical, automotive, vacuum industry, aerospace industry and defense and military departments. The excellent corrosion resistance of molybdenum machined parts make them very popular in the glass industry, mainly as molybdenum heating electrodes and sputtered palladium for flat panel display coatings.
