ERNi Mo-2 welding wire and ERNi Mo-3 welding wire were used to weld GH3535 nickel-based superalloy. The weldability of the two welding wires was comprehensively compared in terms of joint formation, microstructure, joint hardness, tensile properties and fracture analysis. The results show that under the same process parameters, the joints of the two welding wires can achieve better forming conditions. The microstructure characteristics of the welded joints of the two welding wires are similar, and the carbide eutectic transformation phenomenon appears in the heat-affected zone; the microhardness analysis shows that, The hardness of the weld metal in the welded joint of ERNi Mo-3 wire is weaker than that of the base material, while the hardness of the welded seam of the welded joint of ERNi Mo-2 wire is equivalent to that of the base material;

The tensile performance results show that the two kinds of welding wire welding tensile specimens all fracture from the weld. The normal temperature yield strength, high temperature yield strength, tensile strength and elongation after fracture of the ERNi Mo-2 welding wire welded joint are generally higher than those of ERNi. Mo-3 welding wire welded joints show high strength. In summary, ERNi Mo-2 welding wire is more suitable for welding applications of GH3535 nickel-based superalloy.
