Overview

Good high-temperature performance
Tungsten with a high melting point can maintain a stable structure and will not soften, deform or fail due to high temperature, ensuring the normal operation of equipment under high temperature conditions. Even at temperatures close to its melting point, it can still maintain high strength and hardness.
Good corrosion resistance
Tungsten has stable chemical properties at room temperature and does not easily react with corrosive media such as air, water, and most acids and alkalis, thus reducing maintenance costs and safety hazards caused by corrosion failure of fasteners.
Good electrical and thermal conductivity
Tungsten material can meet the dual needs of fastening and conductivity. In a high-temperature environment, the stability of its electrical and thermal conductivity is much better than copper or aluminum metal.

Application
- Aerospace: Tungsten Fasteners are used to fix high-temperature alloys, ceramic insulation materials, and other components to ensure that they do not loosen or deform under extreme high temperatures and vibrations. For example, the connection between the thrust chamber cooling channel and the shell of a liquid rocket engine often uses tungsten bolts or nuts.
- Nuclear industry: Used to fix fuel rod cladding, reflective layer materials (such as graphite), etc. Tungsten has strong radiation resistance and does not easily react with coolants (such as liquid metal, high-temperature water) at high temperatures.
- High-temperature furnace industry: In vacuum arc furnaces and electron beam furnaces for smelting refractory metals (such as titanium, zirconium, tantalum) or special alloys, it is used to fix heating elements (such as tungsten wires, molybdenum electrodes) and crucible support structures inside the furnace body to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
- Energy industry: Tungsten alloy fasteners can replace traditional high-temperature alloys to fix thermal power generator equipment, reducing the risk of loosening caused by long-term high-temperature creep.
- Electronics industry: In vacuum coating machines such as magnetron sputtering and electron beam evaporation, it is used to fix the target and cathode, and install the heating filament.

Process
① Select high-purity tungsten powder or add a small amount of metal powder as needed, mix evenly, and facilitate subsequent processing.
② Use powder metallurgy (mold pressing-degreasing-high temperature sintering) or smelting forging method (electron beam vacuum melting-multiple hot forging) to make the blank.
③ Perform high-precision machining such as turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc., to produce the shape and thread.
④ Surface cleaning treatment to remove impurities, and apply wear-resistant coating or anti-corrosion coating as needed.
⑤ Comprehensive quality inspection, such as dimensional accuracy, appearance inspection, mechanical properties, non-destructive testing, etc.
