Material selection and processing

We use high-quality cobalt as the main component and add other metal elements such as nickel, chromium, tungsten and molybdenum to enhance the performance of the alloy. All raw materials have undergone high-temperature furnace melting, cooling and solidification in the mold, rolling and forging, heat treatment, surface polishing and quality inspection.

Alloy 6b Rod Information

Alloy 6b Rod, also known as stellite 6B rod, is a cobalt-based alloy known for its superior hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. This alloy is widely used in industries with strict requirements for wear, heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. The composition of Stellite 6B mainly includes 27% to 32% chromium, 3% to 4% molybdenum, 1.4% to 2% carbon, 3% to 3.5% tungsten, 1% to 1.5% silicon and 1.5% to 2.5% iron. These ingredients make Stellite 6B have excellent wear resistance, impact resistance and corrosion resistance.

The uses of Stellite 6B include use in fluid valves, hot extrusion dies, high-temperature bearings, and applications to prevent erosion, wear and corrosion. Its chemical resistance makes it ideal for use in pumps, valves and other equipment in the chemical industry. In the aerospace industry, it is used for parts that are subjected to high stress levels, such as engine turbine blades, exhaust valves and injector parts.
