Hastelloy Alloy Bar Description
Hastelloy is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, and its molybdenum and chromium contents are second only to nickel at 15% and 14.5%, respectively. Hastelloy Alloy Bar is a widely used product in Hastelloy alloys. It has the advantages of high corrosion resistance, good thermal stability, high strength, excellent high temperature resistance and good machinability. Different grades have different excellent characteristics. For example Hastelloy X Bar has high strength, anti-oxidation and easy processing properties. While Hastelloy C22 and Hastelloy C276 are very resistant to corrosion in oxidizing media.
Hastelloy Alloy Bar Application
Hastelloy Alloy Bar is mainly used in the chemical industry, aerospace, paper industry, automotive industry, agricultural equipment, marine engineering, construction industry, power plants and oil and gas industries. And Hastelloy Alloy Bars can be used to make important parts of equipment such as heat exchangers, pipes, jet engines, superchargers, cooling towers and high temperature furnaces.
