FANMETAL recently completed the shipment of a customized nickel-chromium wire order for a Slovakian customer. This batch of wire, designed for high-temperature applications, features a precise composition of 80% nickel and 20% chromium, meeting the customer's exacting specifications. Available in six sizes ranging from 0.025mm to 1.0mm, the wire offers high stability and customization, providing core raw material support for the customer's high-end heating equipment manufacturing projects and demonstrating the company's technical strength and service capabilities in the non-ferrous metal export sector.
The customer specifically outlined two key requirements: First, the use of the classic 8020 nickel-chromium ratio. This alloy offers long-term stable operation at temperatures up to 1100°C, boasting oxidation resistance and low creep properties far exceeding those of ordinary alloys, meeting the high-frequency and high-load operation requirements of heating equipment. Second, the wire required six different diameters, with a single coil wire straightness error within 0.1mm/m to accommodate the assembly precision requirements of various heating modules. In response to customer needs, FANMETAL's technical team immediately initiated customized solution design. Using a vacuum induction melting process, the wire composition is precisely controlled, ensuring that the nickel-chromium content of each batch of wire remains within ±0.2%, in compliance with the ASTM B344 international standard. Furthermore, a multi-pass continuous drawing process coupled with in-line annealing is employed to maintain a wire diameter tolerance of ±0.01mm. The final product fully meets the power density and temperature requirements of the customer's heating equipment. Each coil of wire undergoes eddy current testing, resistivity testing, and tensile strength testing before shipment, and is certified to ISO9001 quality standards.
We utilize vacuum packaging, foam board, and wooden crates for triple protection during shipment, and partner with international freight forwarders to provide door-to-door service. Customers can monitor their shipment's location and customs clearance progress in real time through a dedicated system. A wire storage guide is also provided, and we guarantee a 24-hour technical response to address any subsequent customer inquiries.
As a supplier specializing in the export of high-end non-ferrous metals, this order further consolidates our market share in Europe. In the future, our company will continue to research and develop tungsten alloys, nickel alloys, titanium alloys, and other materials, optimize customized service processes, and provide more efficient and accurate raw material solutions for global customers.
