Recently, FANMETAL completed the production and shipment of Hastelloy C276 Wire customized for a high-end manufacturing enterprise in Turkey. This batch of products will be used in the manufacturing of core components for the customer's chemical corrosion-resistant equipment. This collaboration has earned us high praise from the customer and further expanded our international market presence and brand influence.
The Turkish client imposed precise and stringent custom requirements for the C276 Welding Wire: tolerances must be controlled within ±0.02mm, lengths must be supplied in 10-meter fixed-length coils, and weight deviation per coil must not exceed 1.5% to eliminate the need for secondary cutting during subsequent equipment assembly. Furthermore, each coil must comply with ASTM B574 international standards, with enhanced resistance to severe corrosion. The wire surface finish must achieve Ra≤0.6μm to accommodate the client's subsequent precision welding processes.
Upon receiving the order, our technical team collaborated with sales and production departments to conduct two rounds of video conferences with the client. By analyzing the client's equipment drawings and application scenarios, we transformed abstract requirements into executable production parameters. To address the processing challenges of C276 alloy, we employed a "multi-pass progressive cold drawing" process, paired with custom high-temperature grease, to minimize friction damage between the dies and wire. An online laser diameter gauge (accuracy 0.001mm) was integrated to monitor wire diameter in real-time during each process step. Data is synchronously transmitted to the central control system, triggering automatic shutdown and adjustment upon any tolerance deviation.
To ensure the wire arrives undamaged at the Turkish customer's designated port, FANMETAL employs a "triple-layer protection + precise labeling" packaging solution. Each coil is individually sealed in a vacuum composite bag bearing a QR code label containing product batch number, specifications, and inspection reports for traceability via customer scanning. Vacuum-packed wire is placed inside custom rigid paper tubes, surrounded by shock-absorbing foam to prevent rolling and collision during transit. Export-grade plywood crates are used, externally marked with Fragile, Moisture-Proof, shipping ID, weight, and quantity labels. Waterproof document pouches inside contain commercial invoices, packing lists, material certificates, and copies of third-party test reports to facilitate customs clearance and inspection.
The successful delivery of this order not only demonstrates our company's technical expertise and rapid response capabilities in high-end non-ferrous metal customization but also earned high praise from the Turkish client for our product quality and service standards. They expressed hope for continued in-depth collaboration. Moving forward, we will remain customer-centric, deepen our expertise in non-ferrous metal processing technologies, and commit to delivering more professional and efficient supply chain solutions to global clients.
