Beryllium copper, also called beryllium bronze, is a copper alloy with beryllium as the main alloying element. The content of beryllium in the alloy ranges from 0.2 to 2.75%. Its density is 8.3g/cm3.
Features:Beryllium Copper Wires have excellent properties such as high conductivity, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, moderate strength, non-magnetic, elastic and stable impact, no spark, and stress relaxation resistance.After heat treatment (solution hardening and age hardening), the hardness of the beryllium copper wire is increased so that it does not deform under any high temperature conditions. Many superior properties of beryllium copper wires make it widely used in a wide range of applications, such as good ductility, good casting, welding and processing properties, good adhesion resistance, resistance to carbonic acid, hydrochloric acid and other non-oxidizing acids, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
Application:Beryllium copper wires are suitable for the manufacture of various parts requiring high strength, high hardness, high elasticity and high corrosion resistance, and its typical uses include precision screw machining parts, welding electrodes, bearings, corrosion-resistant parts of plastic molds, marine telecommunication components, Micro motor brushes, relays and connectors, etc.
