Application:Because zirconium has better mechanical strength and good thermal stability at high temperatures than most other metals, zirconium crucibles are ideal for melting other precious metals. The outstanding thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance of zirconium crucibles make them widely used in smelting industry, chemical corrosion resistant equipment and high temperature superconducting materials.In addition, zirconium crucibles are also widely used in medical equipment (such as zirconium implants), electric light source parts and electric vacuum components, electrodes for rare earth metal refining, PVD sputtering materials and heating elements and refractory parts in high temperature furnaces.Compared to nickel crucibles, zirconium crucibles cost more, but since the amount of melt in zirconium crucibles is much higher than other metals, not only is it more cost-effective, but it can also be recycled multiple times, which actually happens to avoid samples pollution.
