Tungsten rhenium alloy rod is a composite material of tungsten and rare metal rhenium. As refractory metals, tungsten and rhenium have excellent properties, such as high strength, high hardness, good plasticity, high resistivity, good oxidation resistance and carbonization, and good welding performance. 3%, 5%, 25% or 26% rhenium can be added to tungsten by powder metallurgy and smelting methods, which can improve the recrystallization temperature, ductility and ultimate tensile strength of tungsten-rhenium alloy,and significantly reduce the brittleness of tungsten at room temperature, thus forming the tungsten rhenium alloy with good high temperature resistance and high hardness.

Application: Tungsten rhenium alloy rod has a melting point of 3050°C and a recrystallization temperature close to 1900°C. It has better mechanical properties and ductility than pure tungsten. Because of its high melting point, high resistance, strong magnetism and high stability, tungsten rhenium alloy can be widely used in electronics industry, electric furnace, welding, nuclear industry and aerospace industry. On the one hand, tungsten rhenium alloy can be widely used in high temperature components, such as various heaters, thermocouple and cathode tube in temperature measuring instrument, on the other hand, it can be used as the matrix material of special parts such as artificial satellite, atomic energy, high temperature alloy, high temperature thermal field and magnetron sputtering target.
