Overview
Cemented Carbide Plate is a plate made through powder metallurgy. It is mainly composed of refractory metal carbides (such as tungsten carbide), sintered with binder metals such as cobalt and nickel. It has extremely high hardness, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and a certain strength. It can maintain stable performance under harsh working conditions such as friction, impact, and high temperature. Characteristics
Outstanding wear resistance

Application
1. Tool Manufacturing
- Cutting Tools: Cemented carbide plates can be made into turning tools, milling cutters, boring tools, and other tools for machining various metal materials (such as steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals). It is particularly suitable for high-speed cutting and high-strength material processing.
- Saw Blades and Knives: Used in saw blades for cutting metal sheets and pipes, as well as blades for woodworking and plastic cutting. Its wear resistance far exceeds that of high-speed steel blades, extending its service life several times.
2. Mining
- Drilling Tools: After cutting the plate into specific shapes, it is welded to the drill head. Used in geological drilling, oil drilling, and mining, it effectively crushes rock and improves drilling efficiency.
- Crushing Equipment: As liners and jaw plates in crushers, and grinding discs in ball mills, it withstands the intense impact and friction of materials such as ore and sand, extending the service life of equipment.
3. Metallurgical Industry
- High-Temperature Wear-Resistant Components: In metallurgical furnaces, they serve as high-temperature, wear-resistant liners or guide plates to resist the erosion and friction of hot molten metal.
- Forging Dies: As local wear-resistant inserts in hot forging dies, such as those used in the forging of automotive crankshafts and connecting rods, they withstand metal deformation and friction under high temperature and pressure, reducing die wear.
4. Electronics Manufacturing
- Precision Dies: Used in semiconductor packaging dies, electronic connector dies, and other applications, ensuring the dimensional accuracy of electronic components.

- Corrosion-Resistant Components: Serving as inner linings, valve sealing surfaces, and pipe wear-resistant linings for chemical equipment, they resist corrosion from acids, alkalis, and saline solutions, reducing wear on equipment.
6. Aerospace
- Aircraft Engine Components: As components within the engine that are subject to high temperatures and high friction, they can withstand temperatures exceeding 1000°C and high-velocity airflow.
Process
① Refractory metal carbide powder and binder metal powder are precisely proportioned according to target properties (such as hardness and toughness).
② The powders are then placed in a ball mill and ground at high speed using carbide balls to achieve uniform mixing and refinement to the micron level.
③ The granulated powders are then loaded into a mold and pressed into a green body with a desired strength and shape through cold pressing.
④ The trimmed green body is then placed in a vacuum sintering furnace for high-temperature sintering to increase density.
⑤ Precision machining (such as grinding and EDM) is performed to reduce dimensional tolerances and meet customer customization requirements.
⑥ Surface polishing and comprehensive quality testing, including mechanical properties and non-destructive testing, is performed.
