Cobalt-Chromium Alloy is a high-temperature cobalt-based alloy with cobalt, chromium, and tungsten as the main components. Casting Cobalt-Chromium Alloy superalloys is largely dependent on the strengthening of carbides. Cobalt Base Alloy Welding Rod containing more than 50% cobalt will not lose its original strength and hardness even if the temperature reaches 1000 ℃.Cobalt-Chromium Alloy Welding Rod have excellent corrosion resistance, impact resistance, oxidation resistance, and wear resistance between metal adhesion in the temperature range below 800 degrees. The surfacing layer can be processed.

Cobalt-Base Alloy Welding Rods have different grades and models according to the hardness and chemical composition content, mainly Cobalt Alloy4, Cobalt-Base Alloy 6 and Cobalt Alloy 12. They all have good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, which are respectively used in hot stamping and dry battery industry, aerospace industry(engine valves and turbine blades), metallurgy and manufacturing (high pressure valves, saw teeth and screw push rods).Cobalt-Base Alloy Welding Rods are used in occasions requiring good performance under conditions of high temperature resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, such as automobiles, internal combustion engine valves, high temperature and high pressure valves, and hot scissors. Cobalt Base Alloy maintain excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. They are usually used in the temperature range of 300 - 800°c. They achieve an excellent surface finish with a low coefficient of friction for good sliding wear.

As-cast: Meets most surfacing requirements.

Densification: Hip to eliminate centerline porosity.

Ground/Polish: Eliminate surface imperfections.

Oxyacetylene Tungsten Inert Arc (TIG)

Standard length of continuous cast solid rod is 1 meter (36" in North America). (Other lengths are also available.)
