Cobalt-Chromium Alloy Bar is a cobalt-based alloy with good erosion, wear and corrosion resistance
Cobalt-Chromium Alloy Bar have a higher melting point than nickel (or iron) alloys, which allows them to absorb stress at higher absolute temperatures. Have better thermal fatigue properties and weldability. Cobalt-Chromium Alloy alloys have excellent hot corrosion properties to gas turbine atmospheres due to their high chromium content
Cobalt-Chromium Alloy Bar Features:
1. Excellent high temperature oxidation resistance.
2. Good oxidation resistance in sulfur-containing environments.
3. Good carbonization resistance.
4. Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and high creep rupture strength due to limited carbon content
5. Has good mechanical properties at both room temperature and high temperature.
Therefore, it is recommended to use it in an environment above 500°C.
We melt high-quality cobalt-based alloy round bars in vacuum and induction furnaces.
We can cast and machine hard cobalt based alloy round bars according to drawings.
