Cobalt Alloy Round Bars （Stellite 6b） is a cobalt-based chromium-tungsten alloy with wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high heat resistance. Widely used in oil and gas, blades or combustion chambers. Machinery, wood cutting, automotive, paper, food processing and other industries. Cobalt-based alloys have been used to produce various components. The material can be realized as forgings or precision castings or centrifugal castings. Cobalt Cobalt Stellite 6b round bars can be welded using a range of methods including MIG, TIG, shielded metal arc and coated electrode welding. A preheat treatment of 1000°F should be used and maintained to prevent cracking during welding.
