Description:Chrome is a steel-grey, lustrous, hard and brittle transition metal that requires a high degree of polishing to prevent fading.Chromium sputtering targets have the same chemical properties as metal chromium(Cr),such as high melting point,high hardness, strong corrosion and wear resistance,good discoloration resistance,and impact resistance.When exposed to air, the metal chromium is easily oxidized to form a thin and dense protective layer,and this oxide coating can make the metal have good corrosion resistance and help improve stainless steel (a type containing chromium alloys).Chromium sputtering targets produced by our company are of high purity, no cracks, smooth surface,and can be customized according to customer requirements.
Application:Chromium sputtering targets are widely used in aerospace,decorative coatings,automotive lighting,electronics and semiconductors,optics,vacuum coating and other industries.Among them,chromium sputtering targets are most commonly used in glass coating industry,hardware tool coating and thin film deposition technology,mainly automotive glass coatings (such as rearview mirrors),turning tools and stamping dies,as well as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD),etc.In addition,decorative coatings made by attaching chrome sputtering targets to electronic products or appliances such as watches, clocks and flat panel displays can improve the gloss of the products, making them more wear-resistant and attractive.
