Metal niobium and tantalum have similar properties, and both can form a dense oxide film with excellent corrosion resistance at room temperature. Niobium electrodes are mainly made by powder metallurgy process and have the advantages of small size, large capacity, stable performance, good temperature characteristics, high insulation resistance and high durability. Because Niobium Electrodes have good mechanical strength and thermal creep resistance, they can be used as important components in the aerospace industry and precision instrument industry. Of course, the most prominent applications of niobium electrodes are as corrosion-resistant media in electromagnetic flowmeters and anodes for cathodic protection in the electronics and chemical industries. When a certain cooling transition temperature is reached, niobium electrodes can also be used as key components of magnetic resonance imaging equipment in the medical field.
