Niobium Disc Description

Niobium is a very ductile gray transition metal with similar physical and chemical properties to the element tantalum. Niobium Disc is mainly made by powder metallurgy process. After powder pressing, high temperature sintering, vacuum annealing and grinding and polishing, it is often used as a sputtering target in the coating field. Small amounts of niobium (as low as 0.1%) can significantly improve the performance characteristics of the metal. Niobium Disc has excellent mechanical strength, good thermal creep resistance, strong corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and good durability. Niobium Discs are very suitable for steel production, super alloy manufacturing, superconducting industry and decorative coatings, and can also be used in medical imaging equipment, high temperature and high pressure equipment, chemical processing equipment and aerospace equipment.
