Seamless nickel pipe is a kind of nickel pipe, which often conforms to the international standard ASTM B161. There are two common types of ASTM B161 Seamless Nickel Tube: Nickel 200 Seamless Tube and Nickel 201 Seamless Tube. The latter is a low carbon version of the former with a slower work hardening rate and is suitable for making nickel wire, burning boats and electronic components.ASTM B161 Seamless Nickel Tube will produce an oxide film to protect itself when it comes into contact with alkaline liquids, that is, it has significant corrosion resistance, so it is often used in corrosive evaporators, agitators and exchangers in the chemical industry.Because of its good thermal stability, electrical conductivity, magnetostriction and processability, ASTM B161 Seamless Nickel Tubes have a wide range of applications, including food production, crystal manufacturing, oil extraction, nuclear power plants and power plants, steel industrial and medical fields.
