TZM Round Bar Description & Application

Compared with unalloyed molybdenum, TZM alloy is mainly composed of molybdenum (content up to 95% or more), titanium, zirconium and carbon and other metal elements, which have higher strength, hardness and recrystallization temperature, as well as good high temperature ductility , welding ability and creep resistance. TZM Round Bar is mainly made of TZM metal powder, which has undergone a series of processes such as pressing into ingots, sintering, forging, drawing and vacuum annealing, and has excellent mechanical and chemical properties.TZM Round Bars can be used in various heavy industrial manufacturing fields, such as rocket nozzles, gas pipes, nozzle throat linings and torpedo engine components in the military field, and can be used as heating conductors in high temperature furnaces in high temperature industries.,electric furnace electrodes or die-casting mold materials of non-ferrous metals, etc. It can also be used in support frames, heat exchangers and rails in the nuclear industry.
