Tzm Rod
Tzm Rod (Titanium-zirconium-molybdenum) is an alloy composed of 0.50% titanium, 0.08% zirconium and 0.02% carbon and balanced molybdenum. TZM is known for its good thermal conductivity, low expansion coefficient, high recrystallization temperature, low evaporation pressure, good corrosion resistance, and easy processing. TZM is widely used in aviation, aerospace and other fields, such as nozzle materials, trachea materials, electronic tube materials, etc. TZM can also be applied to cathode elements of semiconductor targets, medical targets, and x-ray targets. TZM can be used to produce high temperature furnaces, heating elements, heat shields and light alloy castings. There are two production methods of TZM alloy: smelting and powder metallurgy. In industry, the earliest molybdenum alloys are titanium, zirconium and molybdenum alloys.
Tzm Rod advantage:
