Application
WMo Alloy Wire can be widely used in integrated circuits, incandescent lamps, electron tubes, semiconductors and other electronic fields, EDM, high temperature furnace industry, aerospace, petrochemical and medical fields.
- Molybdenum Tungsten Alloy Wre is used as a high-temperature furnace heating element, which can be used for heat treatment of metal materials, ceramic sintering, and other processes.
- Commonly used as electrode wire in EDM, it can be used to process molds and parts of various complex shapes.
- Used as filament material for incandescent lamps or halogen lamps, it extends the service life of lamps and improves the brightness and stability of light.
- It can be used to manufacture components such as cathodes, grids, and connecting wires to ensure the stable operation of electronic equipment.
Classification of Molybdenum Tungsten Alloy (Mo-W Alloy)
- High-molybdenum-low-tungsten alloy: The molybdenum content is relatively high, usually above 50%, while the tungsten content is relatively low, below 50%. For example, an alloy with a molybdenum content of 70% and a tungsten content of 30%. In particular, it has a unique corrosion resistance to liquid zinc and is very suitable for parts such as agitators, pipes, and container linings in the zinc smelting industry.
- High-tungsten-low-molybdenum alloy: The tungsten content is generally more than 50%, while the molybdenum content is less than 50%. For example, an alloy with a tungsten content of 80% and a molybdenum content of 20%. It has higher hardness and melting point and is more suitable for manufacturing high-temperature parts of aerospace engines.
- Molybdenum-tungsten equal-proportion alloy: an alloy with a molybdenum and tungsten content of 50% each. This alloy combines the performance advantages of molybdenum and tungsten, has relatively balanced mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, and is suitable for manufacturing special electric heating elements.
