MoW Alloy Sheet Description

Both molybdenum and tungsten are refractory metals that are widely used and have similar excellent properties (such as high melting point, high thermal conductivity and high modulus of elasticity). Molybdenum-tungsten alloy is a molybdenum-based alloy, which can be produced by powder metallurgy process and vacuum arc casting method to produce plates, rods or wires. Compared with pure molybdenum products and other molybdenum alloy products, MoW Alloy Sheet has better corrosion resistance (zinc corrosion resistance and high temperature ablation resistance), good high temperature strength, strong ductility, excellent wear resistance and long service life.

Application of MoW Alloy Sheets:

1. It is commonly used in heavy industry equipment such as space shuttle, spacecraft, aircraft, automobile, electronic equipment and military weapons

2. Can be used at higher temperatures than molybdenum or molybdenum alloy, such as in the production of high melting point refractory ceramic fiber furnace can be used as heat insulation board and high temperature furnace parts

3. Used for zinc pump rotor, agitator and other corrosion resistant parts

4. Due to the radiation attenuation properties of tungsten, molybdenum tungsten sheets can also be used in medical imaging equipment to reduce X-ray radiation, improve image quality and protect the safety of doctors and patients
