1. Preparation and characteristics
Molybdenum plate is made by rolling molybdenum plate blanks, usually with a thickness of 2-30 mm. Molybdenum plate has a high elastic modulus, is tougher than tungsten, and has surface states of alkali pickling surface, annealing state and polishing surface.
Molybdenum sheet is usually a thin sheet composed of transition metal molybdenum (Mo) and rare earth elements. It is made by cold isostatic pressing of medium-grained molybdenum powder to obtain molybdenum pressed blanks, and then through composite sintering, low-temperature large deformation blanking, low-temperature cross hot rolling, alkali washing, grinding and shearing. It has the characteristics of high hardness, low thermal expansion coefficient, high thermal conductivity, low resistivity, good chemical stability and electrochemical properties.
Molybdenum foil is mainly made of pressed and sintered molybdenum plate blanks through rolling process, usually between 0.025-0.09mm, 30-100mm wide, and more than 200mm long. Its surface states are alkali pickling surface, annealing state and polishing surface. At room temperature and pressure, it does not react with air or water, but it will be slowly oxidized under heating conditions.
2. Application Scope
Molybdenum plate: widely used in electronics, aviation, aerospace, electric light sources, heating elements in vacuum furnaces, heat shields, molybdenum boats, molybdenum crucibles and other fields.
Molybdenum sheet: widely used in electronics, aerospace, electric light sources and other fields.
Molybdenum foil: used to manufacture the conductive layer, heat dissipation layer and other key components of electronic equipment.
