1. Remove the reaction layer on the nut surface
Due to the small density of titanium nuts, titanium liquid flow when the inertia is small, the flow performance is poor, in the production process, it is easy to lead to the appearance of defects such as pores on the surface and inside the nut. There are two ways to remove the surface reaction layer: First, sand blasting is used to impact the sand on the surface of the nut, resulting in fierce sparks, and the temperature rise reacts with the surface of the titanium nut, forming secondary pollution and affecting the surface quality. Only the sticky sand, surface sintered layer and part of the oxide layer on the casting surface can be removed. Second, the use of cleaning pickling method can quickly and effectively remove the rest of the surface reaction layer of the nut, and will not produce other metal element pollution.
2. Treatment of casting defects
Titanium nuts may have internal pores and internal defects in the production process, which can be removed by isostatic pressing technology.
3. Grinding and polishing
(1) Grinding: titanium nuts have high chemical reactivity, low thermal conductivity, large viscosity, low mechanical grinding ratio, and easy to react with abrasives and abrasives, ordinary abrasives are not suitable for grinding and polishing titanium nuts, using superhard abrasives with good thermal conductivity, such as diamond, cubic boron nitride, etc.
(2) Chemical polishing: chemical polishing is the purpose of leveling and polishing through the REDOX reaction of the metal in the chemical medium. Its advantage is that chemical polishing has nothing to do with the hardness of the metal, the polishing area and the structure shape, and the parts in contact with the polishing liquid are polished, no special complex equipment is required, and the operation is simple, which is more suitable for the polishing of complex structure precision titanium nuts. However, chemical polishing is difficult to control in terms of technical parameters, which requires a good polishing effect on the nut without affecting the precision of the nut.
Step 4 Color
In order to increase the beauty of titanium nuts, make the surface of titanium nuts more colorful and beautiful, but also to prevent the continuous oxidation of titanium nuts under natural conditions. General manufacturers will use surface nitriding treatment, atmospheric oxidation and anodizing method for coloring treatment, so that the surface form light yellow or golden yellow, improve the beauty of titanium nuts. Anodizing method uses the interference of titanium oxide film on light, natural color, can be changed by changing the tank voltage on the surface of titanium to form colorful colors.
