Fanmetal supply the Tungsten Heavy Alloy Cube according to standard ASTM B777 , AMS- T 21014 , density HD 17 , HD 17BB , HD 17D , HD 17.5 , HD17.7 , HD 18 , HD 18D , HD 18.5 g/cm3 , including 90WNiFe, 93WNiFe , 95WNiFe , 97WNiFe , 90WNiCu, 93WNiCu , 95WNiCu , 97WNiCu etc.

Tungsten heavy alloy cubes have the characteristics of small size, high density, high temperature resistance, high impact resistance and crack resistance, and good corrosion resistance. Tungsten heavy alloys usually consist of W-Ni- Fe or W-Ni- Cu or W-Ni-Cu-Fe; tungsten heavy alloys are created with the addition of: Co,Mo,Cr, etc. Tungsten heavy alloys generally contain some combination of Ni, Fe, Co, and Cu. The most common of these alloys are W-Ni-Fe alloys, which contain 70 to 98% tungsten with Ni: Fe ratio between 6:4 and 9:1.

For example, Tungsten Heavy Alloy Cube has the characteristics of high strength, good wear resistance, strong radiation adsorption capacity, not easy to deform, and certain ferromagnetic properties, while W-Ni-Cu alloy blocks have non-magnetic, anti-oxidation, low thermal expansion coefficient, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, processability, and solderability. Compared with the two alloys, the latter is more suitable for applications that are sensitive to magnetic fields. Recently, there has been an increased demand for sheet products made from these alloys. Techniques have been developed to produce sheet products by rolling pressed and sintered slabs.

Tungsten ballast weight application:

Tungsten alloy cubes are widely used in aviation, military, metallurgy, machinery, electronic communications, transportation, building materials, and medical fields, such as rocket engine throat gaskets, armor-piercing projectile parts, casting mold materials, glass furnace electrodes, mobile oscillators, balancing materials, and radiation barriers in CT machines. Especially in the field of precision instruments, tungsten weight cubes are very popular, such as clock cubes, self-winding watches, anti-vibration tool collectors, and flywheel weights, etc. They can also be used as paperweights, souvenirs, fish weights, and sports equipment weights, etc.
