Moly Wire

Molybdenum wires have high purity (molybdenum content up to 99.95%),easy processing, excellent creep resistance,excellent strength and rigidity at high temperature,high cutting precision,especially corrosion resistance,long service life and non-toxic.

Moly Wire is usually used to manufacture EDM cutting moly wire , electric light parts, electric vacuum components , the high temperature heating elements and high temperature furnace structural parts( like filament for all kinds of lamps) . The Electropolishing molybdenum Wire are also used to produce molybdenum spiral in the vacuum evaporation.

Application:

Moly Wire is divided into pure molybdenum wire, high-temperature molybdenum wire and alloy molybdenum wire, such as TZM and MLa. According to the application, it is divided into wire-cut molybdenum wire, sprayed molybdenum wire, black and white molybdenum wire for lamp, heating molybdenum wire, molybdenum wire for tie, etc.Pure molybdenum wires have high purity and good electrical conductivity, so it is often used in the lighting industry, such as incandescent lamp bracket filament,halogen bulb lead wire,tube socket and tungsten wire with mandrel,etc.And they can also provide cooling defrost function as a heating element.High temperature molybdenum wires have a higher recrystallization temperature and is more tough at high temperature, so it is often used in high temperature structural materials,such as nuts and screws,high temperature furnace heating elements and high temperature ceramic material leads.
