Process

① High-purity niobium powder is selected, loaded into a mold, and cold isostatically pressed to produce a billet with a certain density and strength.

② High-temperature melting processes (such as vacuum arc melting or electron beam melting) are used to melt the raw materials into a dense billet.

③ Free forging or die forging is performed using a press, or hot and cold rolling is performed using the pressure of rotating rollers.

④ For small-diameter bars, a drawing process can be used: the billet is passed through a die with a specific aperture to achieve a more precise diameter and roundness.

⑤ Heat treatment (annealing or solution treatment) can relieve stress, refine grains, and improve plasticity.

⑥ Straightening and final quality inspection, such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, non-destructive testing, or dimensional inspection, are performed.
