Monel Round Bar Description & Application

MONEL Nickel Alloy is a nickel-copper alloy commonly known as an alloy with high strength and toughness. Monel Round Bars are widely used in nickel alloy products and are often produced by hot or cold working. Monel Round Bar has many excellent properties, mainly including high tensile strength, high corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, high ductility, good low temperature mechanical properties, cost-effective and long service life. And in order to increase the hardness level, we can use a variety of tempering or cold working.There are two grades commonly used in monel round bar: MONEL 400 and MONEL K500. The latter has added titanium and aluminum elements, and its hardness and strength are higher than the former. Because it contains nearly equal amounts of nickel and copper, Monel Round Bars can be used in a wide range of fields from aerospace to marine industries, often as an interior fitting for corrosion- or impact-resistant equipment.
