Monel Rod Description

Monel is a nickel-based alloy. It is mainly composed of nickel metal and other elements such as copper, iron, and manganese. It is often produced by powder metallurgy or cold machining. There are two common types: K500 and UNS N04400. Monel Rod has a series of advantages of nickel-based alloys, such as good formability, high tensile strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good high and low temperature resistance, long service life and easy processing. For example, Monel 400 is a nickel-based alloy material with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, various acidic media and alkaline media. And K500 has outstanding mechanical properties, welding properties and a wide range of operating temperatures. Monel Rods are very suitable for oil exploration, aerospace, seawater development engineering, shipbuilding and electronic information engineering industries, and are often used to make heaters, valves, pumps, evaporators and low-temperature equipment.
