Electrical contacts are one of the most important components in electronic equipment such as relays, electrical switches or air switches. The selection of electrical contact materials with superior performance is related to the service life of the entire equipment. Moly Contact has similar physical and chemical properties to tungsten contacts (such as good wear resistance, hard texture and strong welding resistance), but is superior in brittleness and corrosion resistance. Moly Contacts has a wide range of applications, such as automotive electrical contacts, alarm contacts, machine tool electrical contacts, motor magnetic circuit breaker contacts and communicator contacts. However, in order to obtain electrical contact materials with better performance, it is often a composite contact material composed of molybdenum material and metal copper or silver. Not only do they have good electrical conductivity and processing properties, but most importantly, they are very resistant to arc ablation and welding.
